Bespoke Wooden Commissions

Commission a piece made only for you. Over weeks, we translate an idea into an object shaped to your exact vision — one design, one owner, one heirloom.

A commission is a conversation. It begins with an idea and ends with an object that could belong to no one else.

Whether you have a precise vision or only a feeling, we work with you to shape it in solid hardwood — choosing the species, the proportions, and the finish together. Every commission is individually numbered and delivered with a wood-engraved Certificate of Provenance.

The process

1 · Consultation

We begin with your idea: the room, the ritual, and the feeling the piece should hold.

2 · Wood selection

Together we choose the species — sheesham, walnut, oak, maple, or rosewood — and the very boards, matched for grain and tone.

3 · Design

Proportions, joinery, and detail are drawn and refined until the object feels inevitable.

4 · Crafting

The piece is shaped entirely by hand in our workshop, slowly and without compromise.

5 · Finishing

Natural oils and wax bring out the depth of the grain and seal it for a lifetime of use.

6 · Delivery

Your object arrives carefully crated, numbered and signed by its maker.

Timeline & care

Most commissions take between eight and sixteen weeks; the rarest take longer. We will never hurry a piece meant to last a lifetime. Once it is yours, simple care — a soft cloth, a little natural oil once or twice a year — keeps it beautiful for generations.
